Constellation
Constellation is all about putting the needs of our customers and communities at the heart of our improvement programme and encouraging an organisational culture which will support and sustain that improvement. It is intended to mainstream key issues highlighted by the Improvement Programme by providing a supportive framework for all employees.
The building blocks are: leadership; service improvement; customer focus and organistional culture, each one enhancing the other in a virtuous circle through people and process.
Constellation is aimed at touching every employee. The involvement will be most direct for the guiding stars, the shining stars and rising stars but the impact will be for all. The impact will be seen in better leadership, improved coaching, managing and mentoring, improved and more supportive culture based on agreed behaviours and values, greater organisational togetherness and a general sense of improvement.
In short, every member of staff, from the top to the bottom, from the office based to those working out in our communities, should see and feel that we are making a difference; should feel part of that difference and feel able to become more directly involved should they wish. We’ve come a long way, but there is more to be done. Get involved and help make a difference.
